"Anupamaa-Anuj's Mehandi Function, Vanraj's Evil Plan " Anupamaa Upcoming 7th May 2022.
The episode begins at Anuj’s house. G.K wonders where he should hide Hasmukh’s medical reports. He keeps it in the cupboard.
Malvika thanks Devika for helping her grind the mehendi. She opens the cupboard where G.K had kept the reports to show the gifts she has brought for Anupama’s family. The reports fall into one of the bags which Malvika doesn’t notice. The mehendi ceremony starts in the Shah house. G.K asks Hasmukh if he has taken his medicines.
Hasmukh tells him that he cannot afford to forget about his medicines and asks him about his reports. G.K tells him that it’s safe in his cupboard. Meanwhile, the bag which had the reports is in the Shah house. Pakhi looks for Anuj when Malvika informs her that he’s arriving with Devika. Vanraj waits for tor Anuj eagerly. As Anuj arrives at the Shah house, Anupama and he meets and blushes to see each other. Vanraj stands in between them but Samar and Pakhi take him with them.
Malvika takes Anupama with her. Devika arrives too. Anupama asks about Kinjal. Pakhi informs her that Kinjal isn’t feeling well and is taking a rest in her room. Paritosh asks Anupama not to worry as he has given milk and medicines to her. Kavya praises the idea of celebrating mehendi and sangeet together and likes the theme too.
Hasmukh tells her that he has selected the mehendi design. Malvika calls him the coolest dad. Devika informs Anupama and Anuj that Samar, Paritosh, and Pakhi have grind mehendi for them. Anupama feels glad and Anuj thanks the children.
G.K asks to start the mehendi ceremony as he is going to write someone’s name on his hand. Leela looks at the gift boxes and Hasmukh’s medical reports fall on the floor. Rakhi catches her red-handed for looking at the gifts. Leela gets annoyed and leaves.
Kavya takes eucalyptus oil for the mehendi ceremony. Anupama tells her that she doesn’t know why she’s participating in her wedding rituals but thanks her for doing so. Kavya tells her honestly that she’s doing this for herself as her personality has changed after she got married to Vanraj. She regrets participating in family fights for the last one and half years.
She tells Anupama that she wants to be happy now and thanks to her for giving the reason to stay happy. Anupama thanks her in return for participating wholeheartedly in her wedding. Kavya shows gratitude to her for saving her life and organizing her wedding too. She tells her that she’s not selfless so wants to think good about herself.
Anupama tells her that she should be happy. They discuss the mehendi design selected by Hasmukh. Leela taunts both of them for becoming friends. They take Leela with them to participate in the mehendi ceremony. G.K gifts bangles to Anupama which belonged to Anuj’s mother. Rakhi calls the jewelry to be antique.
Kavya calls Anupama to be lucky for getting so much love from Anuj and a loving family along with him. Devika asks Anuj to make Anupama wear the bangles. Anuj does so when Anupama blushes. Pakhi calls them cute. Samar tells that he’s getting to know the importance of traditional jewelry kept by elders. Vanraj takes his phone and texts someone. Pakhi asks Dolly about the silver coin she kept in the temple but is shocked to see Mika Singh, the singer in front of them.
The whole family is surprised to see Mika. Mika hugs Anuj and calls him a cheater for getting married. Anuj introduces Anupama to Mika. Mika is glad to know that Anuj is finally getting married to her college love. Anupama greets him. Mika tells him that he didn’t know about his wedding. Anupama gifts her a Radha Krishna frame. Mika thanks her. Vanraj cannot wait to talk to Anuj.
