"Anupamaa Gets Emotional with her Kids On Wedding Day " Anupamaa Upcoming 17th May 2022.
The episode begins in the Shah house. Kinjal asks Anupama to come to visit the baby once born. Anupama tells her that she’s going to be the grandmother of the baby and it’s her responsibility to take care of it.
She hugs Kinjal and Pakhi and asks them not to cry as it’s her wedding day. Kinjal breaks down into tears thinking of Anupama’s vidaai ceremony. Anupama cries too. Pakhi asks both of them to stop crying. She sends Anupama to freshen up and takes Kinjal with her to make her eat fruits.

While Hasmukh rests in his room, Leela enters in rage and opens her jewelry making a sound. Hasmukh asks Leela to bless Anupama when she’s getting restless thinking about her. Leela is taken aback hearing him. He suggests her accept Anupama’s wedding as she’s going to repent about it later. He asks her to let him rest for a while as it’s his daughter’s wedding. Anupama freshens up and so does Anuj. Anuj cannot believe that he’s getting married to the girl of his dreams after waiting for so many years.
Anupama smiles and feels that she’s going to get all the happiness that she didn’t get earlier. She dances in joy and Anuj too sings in his room. They both look at their wedding outfits and blush. Anuj looks at himself in the mirror and thanks Kanha ji for everything. Later, Anuj asks Devika to take Malvika’s suggestion regarding her outfit.
Malvika comes crying in the living room which makes Anuj, Devika and G.K worried. She hugs Anuj. Anuj gets worried and asks her what the matter is.
She informs him that she has to go to the US on the very same day due to the court hearing of their parents’ dream house. Anuj asks her to shift the hearing date. She tells him that she has to go as it’s the final date. He declares that he’s not going to marry without her presence. Kinjal calls the Panditji asking him to arrive on time. Samar teases Pakhi for working under the sun and bearing the hot weather. Pakhi asks their brothers to let her work as it’s her mother’s wedding. All of them wish to eat something and drink shikanji.
Meanwhile, Anupama brings shikanji and snacks for her children. They ask Anupama not to stay under the sun as it’s her wedding day. Anupama tells them that she cannot see her children staying hungry. When Pakhi asks her how she knew that they are hungry, she tells them that a mother knows everything. Anuj denies getting married without Malvika’s presence. Malvika requests him not to take such a decision as he’s finally getting married to Anupama.
G.K and Devika ask Anuj to understand Malvika’s situation as it’s an emergency for her. Malvika asks Anuj to think about Anupama who will have to hear all the taunts from Leela, Vanraj, and the society. Anuj decides to call Anupama to inform her about the postponement of their wedding.
Malvika warns him not to cancel his wedding otherwise she will not come back into his life again. Anuj asks her to understand his feelings as his family consists of three people only. She asks Devika to handle everything in her absence. She asks Anuj to think about Hasmukh who has postponed his surgery due to their wedding. She decides to talk to Anupama personally and pleads with him to let her go and apologizes for it.
Anupama spends time with her children and makes them eat. Her children accept that a mother is never off duty. Anuj gets emotional. Malvika cheers him up and dances with him. She bids everyone goodbye and hugs Anuj. As she leaves the house, she breaks down into tears. G.K consoles Anuj and tells him that Malvika was upset too but pretended to smile before leaving. Kinjal goes to her room for a while. Anupama tells Pakhi, Samar, and Paritosh that though they will see their mother in a bridal look, a mother’s heart will never change.
She tells them that no relationship in her life is bigger than a mother and children. She wishes that mothers would get an hour more to spend with their children. She assures them to take out time for themselves and asks them not to get angry at her if she doesn’t get time to meet them every day. Samar tells her that he will understand her situation but Paritosh and Pakhi won’t.
Paritosh and Pakhi tell her that they are trying to understand her. Anupama adores them which Vanraj notices.

Anupama and Anuj get ready for their wedding look. Kavya asks Vanraj to participate in Anupama’s wedding happily. Anuj arrives at the wedding venue dancing with his side of the people.
