"Anupamaa-Anuj Exchanges VARMALA, Leela Completes Rituals with Excitement " Anupamaa Upcoming 19th May 2022.
The episode begins in the wedding venue. Anuj and Anupama come close for their wedding rituals. Dolly asks Jignesh for the varmalas.
Pakhi brings the varmalas and gives one to Anuj and Anupama each. G.K asks Anuj not to bend his head so easily and asks Anupama to make him wait for a while. Kinjal tells him that there should be no waiting as Anuj has waited for Anupama for years.
Paritosh and others agree with her. Anuj and Anupama exchange the varmalas while others shower flower petals on them. Kanta, Hasmukh, and G.K praise Anuj and Anupama’s union. Anupama wipes Anuj’s tears and so does Anuj. While Pakhi scrolls her phone, Paritosh asks her if she’s chatting with someone.
Anupamaa 19th May Today's Episode Written Update
Pakhi shows him and Devika the comments that people have done on social media seeing Anuj and Anupama’s wedding rituals. They feel glad that people are showering their love on the newly married couple. Devika finds complaints in the comment section too. Paritosh asks her to ignore the negative comments.
Anuj tells Anupama that he was in disbelief before exchanging the varmala. Paritosh, Pakhi, and Devika find people criticizing Leela and Vanraj in the post. Vanraj stays at a distance when Samar arrives there. He asks Samar not to say the same thing which Kavya said regarding attending the wedding and forgetting the past.
Samar tells him that he’s not there to talk to him but to take the coconut for the rituals to be done. He leaves the place without uttering a word. Paritosh reads a comment where someone prayed for Anuj and Anupama’s union. Devika and Pakhi enjoy reading the positive comments. Paritosh feels that Anuj and Anupama have touched several hearts through the love story.
Devika thanks the almighty for giving a second chance to Anuj and Anupama and feels that everyone deserves it. Anuj whispers a Shayari to Anupama praising her presence in his life. Rakhi asks everyone to start the rituals.
Everyone is surprised by her reaction. Kinjal and Paritosh ask her why she’s in hurry. Rakhi tells them that she has a heart too and asks to start the rituals. Before that Anupama reminds Samar about Hasmukh’s medicines.
Anuj asks Hasmukh and G.K to sit and enjoy the ritual. Kanta asks him to take out his feet as she will do the ritual of cleaning them. Anuj denies making her touch his feet and bend down in front of him. He takes Kanta’s blessings.
Leela joins Kanta in the ritual which makes Anupama emotional. G.K and Hasmukh plan together for a ritual when Jignesh, Paritosh, and Samar join them too.
Paritosh and Samar ask Hasmukh which ritual they are talking about. G.K tells them that the ritual is very risky. The brothers ask them about the ritual. Later, Samar starts a ritual where the bride and groom will throw their complaints against one another. Dolly tells that Leela, Rakhi, and Kavya are pros in the game of talking nonsense about others.
Kanta decides to participate in the game. Anuj asks Leela to be by the groom’s side. Rakhi decides to be on the groom’s side as there is a lack of people there. Jignesh suggests calling Vanraj as he’s a champion in taunting people. When the situation gets awkward, he asks them to start the game. Leela and Rakhi join the groom’s side. Both the groom's and bride’s sides start the game and start teasing the other group.
They have a friendly argument with each other’s group when Anuj and Anupama calm them down. Anupama declares that both the teams are the winners as her mothers are present in both the group. Devika cheers up everyone for the next rituals.
She asks Anuj and Anupama what they are going to promise
to each other. They both speak the same word which surprises everyone. They
feel that giving each other respect is what they are going to promise to each
other.

Vanraj joins the marriage ceremony. Anuj and Anupama are declared husband and wife after all the wedding rituals.
