Anupamaa 17th May 2021 Written Update " Anupamaa Gives
Mangalsutra Back to Vanraj, Her Reports came ".
The episode begins the court. Vanraj gets numb while signing
the divorce paper. Anupamaa picks up the pen which fell from Vanraj’s hand.
She takes a deep
breath and signs the paper. After she sings, she moves forward the paper to
Vanraj. Vanraj signs the paper and his heart beats fast. Their divorce gets
completed successfully. Both of them walk away from the judge’s room. Samar
gets a message and informs his family that the divorce is done. The family gets
upset. Kavya hears the news and jumps in joy.

She thanks the almighty for completing Anupamaa and Vanraj’s
divorce. She feels grateful as Vanraj isn’t Anupamaa’s husband anymore and her
affair with Vanraj isn’t illegal anymore. She feels happy as Vanraj belongs to
her only. After Anupamaa and Vanraj come out of the court, Anupamaa calls
Vanraj by Mr. Shah. Vanraj gets shocked and asks her the reason for calling him
by Mr. Shah.
Anupamaa tells him that whatever she used to address him
previously was for her husband and so has decided to call him by Mr. Shah. She
takes out the mangalsutra from her neck and hands it over to Vanraj. She tells
Vanraj that the mangalsutra isn’t for her as their marriage is broken and it’s
simply a thread for her. She tells Vanraj how much the mangalsutra meant to her.
She tells him that the mangalsutra consisted of a whole world for her which was
surrounded by him.
She tells that she wants to build a new world for herself
and gives the mangalsutra to Vanraj. Vanraj pleads to her not to break his
heart though their relationship is already broken. Anupamaa asks him to give
his phone to her. She asks Vanraj if they can click a selfie together, create a
memory and take their paths. She asks Vanraj to smile and clicks the selfie.
She tells Vanraj that
she wants to be alone for few minutes. Vanraj looks at the selfie. Kavya clicks
a selfie of her own and enjoys the news of Vanraj and Anupamaa’s divorce.
Vanraj wonders what he will do as Anupamaa has gone to spent time alone. Dr.
Advait arrives in front of him and congratulates him for his divorce.

Vanraj asks him not to joke as Anupamaa and he got divorced a
few minutes back. Advait asks him to relax and take things positively. Vanraj
asks him his purpose of coming to the court. Advait tells him that he has come
to the city for his patient’s reports and thought of accompanying them to the
resort. Anupamaa sits at a place and drinks some water. She takes out candy and
eats it.
She recalls her divorce and feels light. She wipes out her
tears. As she stands up, she finds a key ring written good luck on it. She
thanks Kanha ji for giving her strength. Advait asks Vanraj his feelers after
becoming single again. Anupamaa comes back and Advait suggests to them if they
can have tea together. Advait takes the car keys from Vanraj.
Leela gets irritated at Samar’s idea. Kavya tries to
understand what Samar is upto but wonders why Vanraj didn’t call her to inform them
that his divorce is done. She calls Vanraj and doesn’t get his call. Advait
stops the car in front of the tea stall and serves tea and toasts to Vanraj and
Anupamaa. He goes to attend a phone call. Vanraj asks Anupamaa to eat something
and puts her medicines on the table so that she takes them after having her
food.
Anupamaa tells him that she is angry with the fact that he
has delayed showing his care by twenty-five years. Later, she apologizes as she
didn’t want to taunt him but threw out her anger unable to control it. Vanraj
asks her to taunt her as much as she wants as they got separated. Anupamaa
tells him that her respect towards him will always be there. Advait gets to
know that Anupamaa’s reports have arrived and decides to get them as soon as
possible.
Anupamaa tells Vanraj that Kavya is calling him. Vanraj
picks up Kavya’s call with irritation. Kavya overhears the voice of the waiter
serving food to Vanraj and Anupamaa. She taunts Vanraj for going to date with
Anupamaa. Vanraj disconnects the call. Kavya decides not to ruin her happy day.
Anupamaa asks Vanraj not to worry as his family is with him.
Vanraj tells her that they are all with her. He decides not
to leave Anupamaa till she gets completely fine. Advait gets Anupamaa’s final
reports. He wonders how he will share the report with Anupamaa. Anupamaa and
Vanraj cheer as they hold their cup.

Kavya gives Vanraj and her wedding invitation to the Shahs. Anupamaa takes her nameplate and shifts to another cottage.
