Shivani's shocking revelation that she's pregnant leaves
Anurag and Prerna frozen for a moment. Prerna asks sobbing Shivani who's that
guy? Shivani reveals the name of the guy-
Ronit Chaubey. Shivani tells Prerna how Ronit cheated her. She tells her that
they both loved each other a lot. He promised to marry her but suddenly he said
he can't may her.

Shivani also tells Prerna that she herself wanted to break the relation because she knew that relation had no future but then she felt something strange and thought that she's pregnant. She called Ronit to tell that but to this Ronit replied that he doesn't love her.
Angry Prerna determines to teach Ronit his lesson and moves out. Standing at the door other members of their family also listen to their conversation. It gets hard for Rajesh and Veena to handle themselves. Molaye asks Anurag to handle Prerna until he talks to Shivani.

Anurag rushes out and finds Prerna crying alone in a corner.
He goes to her with full energy and points that's your problem. Inside you were
saying that you'll take revenge from that guy and you are crying here. Prerna
tells Anurag that she's falling weak to imagine what Shivani went through but
also she meant what she said inside. She's not going to pay him.
Anurag tries to lead Prerna to the right way and asks what she'll do to teach him his lesson? Prerna gets puzzled. Anurag gives her a better idea to tackle Ronit and asks her to file a legal case against him. Prerna asks him if he wants her to go to police station and file a case against him? To this Anurag replies No, I want both of us to file a case against him. He assures Prerna that he will be with her in this problem. Prerna agrees to his suggestion and they leave for the police station.

Molaye returns home. Mohini suspects the stress over his
face and asks him what happened. Molaye tells her about Shivani's situation. To
listen to the matter, Mohini gets upset
that Molaye left his daughter's anniversary party for such a girl. She blames
Shivani herself for the mischief. And also points to Prerna by asking does she teach such things to her sister. She
also asks Molaye to stay away from Sharma
as she thinks that they are trapping Anurag and now him. Molaye gets astonished
to know Mohini's opinion regarding Sharma.
He couldn't listen more when Mohini describes Shivani as a characterless girl and decides to sleep in the study as he can't rest there. When Mohini still continues to blame Shivani, Molaye tries to explain to her that a guy was also involved in this. It can be possible that he did the mischief or both of them did the mistake. Blaming only Shivani isn't right. Mohini disgraces Shivani's parents and puts the blame over them. To this Molaye replies to Mohini that if Rajesh and Veena aren't good parents we too are not. And he remembers Mohini about Nivedita and Anupama's scandal similar to Shivani's situation, that compelled them to marry Nivedita to Anupam.

Ronit comes to the dining
table to have breakfast with his sister Komolika. Before he may tell her about
the trouble over him, police come to
arrest Ronit in Shivani's rape case and suicide attempt. Komolika tries to
defend her brother through her father, but Sidhant doesn't answer her call.
Inspector deals with the case honestly and arrests Ronit. Komolika comes to
know that to defend her brother she has to deal with the case filer, Prerna
Sharma.
Mohini gets concerned to know that Anurag is helping Prerna
with Shivani's case. On the call, she tries to convince Anurag to stay away
from their family as she doesn't want to see her son in any trouble. But Anurag
convinces Mohini to let him help Prerna as he can't let wrong happening to
anyone. Prerna listens to Anurag
convincing Mohini and thanks him for the favor.
To this Anurag remembers Prerna that he promised to always be there for her.
