"Ankhush Calls Maaya 'Baazaru', Maaya Slaps Him, Anupamaa supports her "Anupamaa Upcoming 5th February 2023.
The episode begins in the Kapadia mansion. Maaya gets on stage. Anupama thanks her for giving birth to Anu and announces to everyone about Maaya is Anu’s biological mother.
Anuj doesn’t like it. When a lady questions her, Anupama tells her that a mother is a mother be it biological or not. Vanraj feels Anupama to be a fool. Kavya tells him that Anupama is a nice person who understands and cares for others. Samar tells Dimpy that Anupama did the right thing by accepting the truth. Maaya folds her hands and thanks her.
Anu leaves Anuj’s hand and stands between Maaya and Anupama. Anuj gets angry and leaves the stage. He kicks a stand coming out. Vanraj stops him from hurting himself. Ankush arrives there too. Anuj stops Ankush from telling the truth about Maaya to Vanraj. Vanraj tells him that he will have to stop Maaya. Anuj agrees with him. Kavya and Kinjal appreciate Anupama and Maaya for dealing with the situation so well. Kavya tells that Anupama has a class dealing with the struggle.
Anupama and Maaya tell them that they are doing everything for Anu’s happiness. Anuj, Vanraj, and Ankush enter the hall when Anu announces the game round. Everyone picks up their chits. Paritosh and Barkha become dance partners. Samar and Dimpy get on stage next. Leela feels that they have cheated while picking up the chits. Then Pakhi and Kanta become a pair. Adhik and Hasmukh get on stage thereafter.
Bhavesh and Leela become dance partners. Vanraj and Kavya get on stage when he tells her how much he has always loved her. Kinjal and Ankush become partners while dancing on stage. Anu rocks the stage later when Anuj joins her and adores her. Anuj thanks everyone for joining Anu’s birthday party. Anu tells him that Anupama and Maaya’s performance is left.
Anu wants them to dance to the classical song as they like classical. Anupama and Maaya get on stage and dance together. Anuj gets frustrated recalling how Anupama announced Maaya to be Anu’s biological mother. After the dance performances are over, Anu cuts her birthday cake. A man from the party stands close to Sushma which makes her uncomfortable.
As she leaves the hall, he follows her and gets noticed by Ankush. Anu makes Anupama eat the cake first which brings makes Anuj relieved a bit. She gets excited to receive the gift. Paritosh asks Maaya about their meeting arrangement and pretends to be busy in other meetings with ministers. Leela taunts him in front of everyone. Maaya tells him that she will let him know about their meeting. Hasmukh gives the gift to Anu on behalf of Leela and him. Anu thanked them for the gift. Anuj tells Hasmukh that his blessings are enough.
Leela tells him that they thought of giving the gift to Anu as she might not be there in the next year. Anu questions her about where she’s going to go. Meanwhile, Sushma slaps that man which shocks everyone. Maaya asks the man what he had done to her. The man disrespects Sushma and Maaya when Anupama protests. He calls them bar girls when Hasmukh thanks the guests for coming and requests them to take leave.
Adhik asks Anu to go to her room with her friends and play together. Anupama asks Arun what the matter is. Ankush asks Arun to leave as he knows the truth already. He reveals to everyone that Sushma and Maaya dance at clubs as bargirls and go to dirty parties. He blames Maaya for not knowing who Anu’s father is and calls her to be Maaya’s illegitimate daughter. Maaya slaps him for calling her daughter to be illegitimate.
Barkha protests against Maaya and asks her not to hide the truth. When Ankush calls Maaya to be a bargirl, Anupama protests and requests him not to disrespect Maaya and Sushma. She feels that people like Arun who goes to watch the dances in the bar aren’t great either and asks Barkha and Ankush not to blame one. Maaya breaks down into tears.
Ankush asks her to stop pretending. Maaya accepts that Sushma is her friend and that both of them were club dancers.

Vanraj gets fed up with Paritosh after he comes to know that Paritosh has given Hasmukh’s factory papers to an investor secretly. He throws him out of the house. Later, Paritosh falls on the street and becomes unconscious.
