The episode begins in the Shah house. Vanraj asks Jayanti bhai why he’s calling Anuj Kapadia. Jayanti bhai tells him that Anuj is his relative and considers him like his son.
Anupama asks Anuj to put the phone on speaker. Anuj does that when Jayanti bhai tells him about Paritosh’s fraudulent activity. Paritosh asks Jayanti bhai to put the call on speaker, and Anupama takes the phone from Anuj. She tells Jayanti bhai that she’s Paritosh’s mother. Paritosh gets relieved and tells Jayanti bhai that Anuj is his stepdad.
Anupama gets angry and asks Jayanti bhai to take whatever action he wants to take against Paritosh and Anuj will not interfere between them. Paritosh asks her why she’s behaving like this. Leela asks Anupama to take Paritosh’s guarantee at least. Anupama tells her that nobody can take Paritosh’s guarantee not even the almighty. She makes it clear that Anuj will not get involved in the mess. She disconnects the call.
Anuj consoles her and asks her to think twice as he can try to help Paritosh. Anupama asks him not to get involved in any kind of a mess and decides not to help Paritosh anymore as he doesn’t deserve it. Anuj hugs him. Paritosh requests Jayanti bhai to trust him as he will return the money. Jayanti bhai rebukes him for being trusted by his mother. Paritosh tells him that Anupama is not loyal to anyone but to Anuj. He tells him about Dave's coaching class which belongs to his mother-in-law from where he can arrange the money.
Vanraj loses his temper and slaps him hard. He apologizes to Jayanti bhai and assures him to pay him the money by tonight. Jayanti bhai decides to wait till night and send Paritosh to jail in the morning if he doesn’t get his money. After he leaves, Vanraj screams at Paritosh. Leela asks him to sell her jewelry in return for money. She rebukes Anupama for not taking Paritosh’s guarantee.
Anupama asks Anuj to let Paritosh suffer for his mistake. When Anuj hugs her, Anupama finds a pebble which she thinks is perfect and picks it up. She gets excited seeing it as Anu wanted it badly. Anuj asks her why Anu wanted it. Anupama tells him that Anu wants it because of playing Stapu. Anuj makes fun of them. They miss Anu when they hear her voice.
They get surprised to see Anu. Anu runs towards them. They wonder how Anu came there. Dheeraj tells them that he has called Anu. Anuj thanks him for the best surprise. He introduces Anu to Dheeraj. Anu tells him that she has already met Dheeraj. Devika and Dheeraj leave the three of them to spend some quality time with each other. Barkha and Ankush sit together in a car to come back home when Ankush talks to his girlfriend over call.
Barkha gets hurt. Ankush asks her not to act like a martyr as she didn’t divorce him due to security. He asks her to stick to her decision instead of creating an issue. Barkha tells him that she will have to face the problem when his truth is revealed to Anuj and Anupama. He asks her not to worry as he will talk to Anuj. Vanraj recalls how Anuj and Anupama denied taking Paritosh’s guarantee.
Leela asks him to do something not to send Paritosh to jail. Anu shares her experience on the trip and how she met with Ms. Maya who took very good care of her when she had a fever. Anuj wonders who Maya is. Meanwhile, Maya gets the details of the Kapadias and looks through their information. Dheeraj and Devika have a fun argument with each other when Anuj and Anupama stop them.
Anuj thanks them for making their day special. Anu tells them that they need to go home and start preparing for Makar Sankranti. Anupama asks her how she knows about Makar Sankranti. Anu tells her that Maya has told her about it and calls her the best. Anuj and Anupama feel jealous of Maya. Anu tells them that Maya will visit them in Makar Sankranti and bring her a special kite. Maya makes the kite and cannot wait to meet Anu. Dheeraj tells his friends that he will have to go back to Delhi.
Devika asks him why he’s leaving soon but soon behaves
normally. Anuj asks Dheeraj to drop Devika home as Anu, Anupama and he will go
to some other place.
Precap For Anupamaa Upcoming 16th January 2023 :
Anu talks to Maya over call after coming back home. Anuj and Anupama get curious about Maya. Anupama takes the phone from Anu to talk to Maya.
