The episode begins in the Shah house. Vanraj asks Pakhi to go away from there at least trying to be a good wife if not a good daughter.
He tells her that she deserves a boy like Adhik. Anupama asks him not to do so. Leela tells him that no matter what Pakhi did but she’s their daughter who shouldn’t be asked to go away.
Anupamaa 31st October Today's Episode Written Update
Vanraj tells her that they cannot give away Pakhi as every girl goes to their in-law's house as she has come to the Shah house already getting married. Kavya asks him not to rush in taking decisions. Vanraj doesn’t listen to anyone and screams at Pakhi asking her to leave.
Pakhi gets emotional recalling the past moments and steps backward. As she prepares to leave with Adhik, Anupama goes and stands near the entrance.
Pakhi puts all the stuff in her luggage bags which got scattered all over. Anuj walks towards Pakhi and Adhik and asks them to leave the stuff for now. He asks them to get up. Pakhi cries as Vanraj has thrown her out. Adhik tells him that they thought their families would accept their marriage instead of throwing them out. Anuj asks him if the family would jump for joy seeing them married. He asks them why they can so much expect from their families.
He tells Pakhi how rude she is to Anupama even when she’s correct and wants her to stand by her side now. He asks them if their parents don’t have any emotions and cannot be scared. Adhik and Pakhi feel helpless as they ask him where they should go. Anuj asks them to sit in the garden for a while. Vanraj sits in the chair. Hasmukh sits in front of him and tells him that he’s bound to cry as his daughter got married.
Vanraj breaks down into tears and tells him how much he
wanted a daughter even when Paritosh and Samar were born. He tells him that he
understood his responsibilities after Pakhi was born. He tells that he has lost
all feelings for Pakhi as when she should focus on her career, she got married
secretly.
Hasmukh tells him that a man who becomes a father never cries for himself but for his children. He tells him that when kids grow up, they don’t listen to anyone so they are responsible for their mistakes too. When Anupama prays to Kanha ji, Kavya takes her inside and asks her to sit beside Vanraj. Hasmukh tells them that some decisions are impossible to return from. He tells them that relationships are like a line drawn on a stone that cannot be erased but should be accepted. He tells Vanraj and Anupama that they have to accept Pakhi and Adhik’s marriage.
Anuj asks the newlywed if they wanted to hurt their families like this. He tells them that Barkha will go crazy too and will have a tremendous reaction to their marriage. Hasmukh tells Vanraj that a father cannot be happy seeing his daughter unhappy. Leela feels Hasmukh is right as they cannot abandon all ties with Pakhi. Hasmukh asks Vanraj not to commit the mistake of leaving his daughter.
Kavya feels that every parent considers their daughter to be worthless when she gets married secretly from the family. She asks Vanraj what’s the need of staying angry and leaving all the connections with Pakhi when he will be hurt too. Samar agrees with her and tells Vanraj that no matter what Pakhi’s finally married and not accepting her marriage isn’t the solution.
Leela tells them that she knew how desperate Pakhi and Adhik were to marry each other and so suggested that Vanraj and Anupama arrange for their marriage. She suggests them do the same as they did when Paritosh and Kinjal got married. Kavya asks Vanraj and Anupama to decide what they want being Pakhi’s parents though everyone feels that they should accept the marriage. Anuj feels the same way. He tells Vanraj that he’s connected to Pakhi and Adhik in some way. He tells the family that they would have been helpless if Pakhi and Adhik didn’t come back after marriage.
He suggests not to disown them at that point as everything will be out of their hands. He asks Anupama and Vanraj to take their final decision thinking carefully about the consequences. Pakhi hugs Adhik and breaks down as she’s scared of where they will go if the families don’t accept them.
She asks him if they took the wrong decision of getting married. Adhik asks her
not to worry as Anuj will help them surely. Vanraj stands up and tells everyone
that if Pakhi and Adhik don’t change their decision, he won’t change his decision
either. Everyone is shocked by Vanraj’s decision.

Anupama and Anuj decide to leave. Pakhi asks them where they should go. Anupama tells him that she should have understood it before getting married.
