Anupamaa 20th July 2021 Written Update " Anupamaa Saves
Cafe's Reputation Vanraj-Anupamaa becomes Friends ".
The episode begins at Vanraj’s cafe. A man arrives with her
daughter to admit his daughter to Anupamaa’s dance academy.
Samar and Nandini help with the admission procedures of the students who arrive one by one. Vanraj feels glad to see Anupamaa’s dance academy getting students for admission. Kavya tries instigating Vanraj against Anupamaa as she feels that Anupamaa could ask the parents to enjoy the cafe facilities too. Vanraj tells her that it’s not Anupamaa’s responsibility to run his cafe.
Paritosh brings
Kinjal aside to talk to her about shifting to the penthouse. Kinjal asks him
not to talk about moving out at that time as she’s stressed about not getting a
customer for Vanraj’s cafe. Paritosh gets a call and leaves for an urgent
meeting. In the evening, Kavya tells the Shahs that they should pack things and
leave for home as no one is going to arrive at the cafe. Anupamaa asks everyone
to take their seat at different tables.
Vanraj understands her plan and tells Leela that it’s a
marketing strategy so that customers arrive at his cafe seeing so many
customers already sitting there. Leela appreciates Anupamaa’s plan. Anupamaa
places a coffee cup at each table. Everyone starts waiting for customers to
arrive. Kavya talks negatively and tells that no customers will arrive at the
cafe.
Meanwhile, a couple arrives at the cafe. Vanraj welcomes
them and gives them the menu card. Looking at the menu card, the couple feels
disappointed as they didn’t get the burger they wanted. As they decide to
leave, Vanraj stops them and asks them to give him some minutes as the burger
will be made soon.
Samar approaches the chef and gets to know that he doesn’t
know how to make a keto burger that the customers want. The customers get
impatient when Vanraj asks them to give him some minutes. Vanraj asks Kavya if
she can make a keto burger. As the couple almost leaves, Anupamaa stops them
and makes their seat. She goes to the chef and decides to make a keto burger
for the customers. Kavya taunts Anupamaa as she felt that Anupamaa didn’t know
how to make a keto burger.
Soon Anupamaa makes the burger as ordered by the customers.
Vanraj serves the burger to the customers. The girl applauds the burger made by
Anupamaa. The family gets happy to see that Anupamaa’s burger could satisfy the
customer’s want. The girl orders more burgers to take them away home. Anupamaa
completes making the rest of the burgers. The girl praises Anupamaa before
leaving the cafe.
Vanraj thanks Anupamaa for helping him get the first
customer. Leela wishes for Vanraj and Anupamaa’s business to run well. Kavya
asks Vanraj to close the cafe before it's too late. Hasmukh asks her to talk
positively. He decides to eat their dinner at Vanraj’s cafe. After they finish
eating, the family decides to leave for their home.
Vanraj and Anupamaa share their first-day income. They smile
at each other as Vanraj jokingly tells her that he has decided to steal her
money as she earned more than him on the first day of their opening. Vanraj
asks her if she would make friends with him. Anupamaa is surprised. Vanraj asks
her again and promises to become a good friend to her though he accepts that he
wasn’t a good husband.
He makes his hand forward and Anupamaa shakes her hand with
him agreeing to make friendship with him. Both of them laugh out loud. On the
next day, Anupamaa packs tiffin for everyone. Pakhi asks her friends over-call
to come to her place after school for dance practice as no one generally stays
there being busy at their work. When she asks for breakfast from Leela, Samar
asks her to serve it by herself.
Both of them argue with each other. Leela asks them to slow
down as Kinjal is having a meeting overcall. Kavya tells Pakhi that she will be
making breakfast for her. Pakhi thanks her. Meanwhile, Hasmukh appears in front
of everyone wearing a suit. The family praises Hasmukh’s look. Hasmukh tells
them that he will be going to work and decides to restart his life again for
Vanraj and Anupamaa’s sake.
Anupamaa asks Samar and Pakhi to click a picture of Hasmukh.
Kinjal tells Anupamaa that she will be directly going to the cafe after her
office. She gets a call from Paritosh. Paritosh tells her that Rakhi has
invited both of them for dinner and he will pick her up. Kinjal doesn’t want to
go for dinner and argues with him. She apologizes to Vanraj for not being able
to come to the cafe after office.
Vanraj tells her that it’s fine. He asks Kavya to come along with him to the cafe. Kavya denies going and tells him that it’s not her job to go to the cafe every day.
She taunts Vanraj telling them that Anupamaa is there
for his support.

Anupamaa tells Vanraj that his day will go better than the previous day.Vanraj tells her that he’s skeptical about his business as he was always into a job. He waits for customers to arrive and gets disappointed to have only one customer from the morning.
