Anupamaa 4th May 2021 Written Update " Vanraj Rises Hand to Slap Kavya, Anupamaa Scolds Vanraj ".
The episode begins in the cottage. Anupamaa asks Vanraj if
he’s fine as he is accepting Samar and Nandini’s relationship.
Vanraj tells her that he was against Samar and Nandini’s
relationship earlier but his perspective of life has changed. He tells Anupamaa
that they can plan for Samar and Nandini’s engagement in the resort itself.
Anupamaa tells him that they have to inform their family as well as Nandini’s
family. Vanraj tells her that he will talk to Kavya regarding the engagement.

He congratulates Anupamaa for her son’s engagement. Anupamaa
jumps in excitement. She dances all alone in the kitchen. Kavya notices Vanraj
and Anupamaa’s bond and cries seeing them together. She stills waits for
Vanraj’s answer and she trusts Anupamaa’s promise. Dr. Advait plays the flute
while Vanraj listens to it peacefully. He finds Vanraj behind him and stops
playing the flute. He shares a joke with Vanraj and both of them laugh out
loud.
Vanraj appreciates him for being spiritual and funny at the
same time. Advait asks him not to take life seriously. Vanraj tells him about
his wish of learning to play any musical instrument but he hasn’t got that
chance. Advait asks him to learn new things. Vanraj tells him that he’s
learning things from life and relationships around him. He asks Advait if he
can conduct a family function in his resort.
Advait asks him to do whatever he wants as family functions
aren’t disturbances. Vanraj calls him to be Krishna ji for being everyone’s
friend. Anupamaa finds Leela watching Kavya’s cottage through her telescope.
Leela tells her that she will never accept Kavya. Anupamaa asks her to calm
down and puts the spoon on Leela’s mouth so that she can taste the mango juice.
Later, she goes to Kavya’s cottage and offers mango juice to Kavya. Seeing Kavya's emotions, Anupamaa realizes that Kavya has overheard Leela’s opinion regarding her.

Anupamaa apologizes to her on behalf of Leela. Kavya sees the nameplate of
Anupamaa’s cottage and tells her that she sometimes becomes jealous of her as
she has found a house in the resort also and the relationship which is breaking
apart is also coming towards her.
Anupamaa asks her not to be jealous of her as she will be
leaving the Shah house after her divorce from Vanraj after few days. Kavya
tells her that things will get delayed since her health isn’t doing well.
Anupamaa asks her to trust her as she remembers her promise. Kavya gets a text
from Vanraj asking her to meet in the poolside. She goes to meet him.
Vanraj tells her
about Anupamaa and his decision of planning for Samar and Nandini’s engagement.
Kavya is shocked. Vanraj tells her that he’s afraid of Anupamaa’s health and
wants her to be happy. Kavya gets irritated and asks Vanraj if he has stayed
back in the resort for arranging family functions. She tells him that their
engagement can also take place in the resort itself.
Vanraj calls her mad for thinking about their engagement
when they didn’t have a divorce with their respective spouses. Kavya asks him
if he would hold their wedding till Anupamaa completely gets fine or dies.
Vanraj loses his temper and calls Kavya insensitive for thinking only about
their wedding instead of Anupamaa’s health. He tells Kavya that he can do
anything to make Anupamaa happy.
Kavya keeps questioning Vanraj about their marriage and
thinks that they will be married only after Anupamaa’s death. Vanraj raises his
hand on Kavya in anger but stops himself from slapping her. Anupamaa witnesses
this and asks Vanraj not to slap Kavya. She protests against Vanraj’s behavior.
She feels pity for Vanraj and Kavya for fighting like kids. She asks Kavya why
she always tries to gain sympathy for being a modern and educated woman.
She tells Kavya that she should have protested when Vanraj
raised his hand on her. She makes herself clear that she is here to pick up
some leaves for cooking purposes and witnesses their fight. She asks Kavya and
Vanraj to mend their relationship. As Anupamaa leaves, Vanraj apologises to
Kavya. Kavya feels guilty for her slip of the tongue.
Vanraj insists Anupamaa sit on the battery car of the
resort. Anupamaa sits behind Vanraj. Vanraj apologises to her. He tells
Anupamaa that he cannot leave her alone in such a critical state. Anupamaa asks
him to stop worrying about her and think about Kavya and his relationship. She
walks inside the cottage. At night, Vanraj is unable to sleep recalling
Anupamaa’s words. Kavya is also awake thinking about Vanraj raising his hand on
her.
Samar asks Vanraj if Anupamaa would survive. Vanraj assures
him that he will not let Anupamaa die. While in sleep, Leela asks Anupamaa not
to die. Anupamaa Smiles and Episodes Ends with Sleepless Vanraj-Anupamaa and
Kavya.
Precap for Anupamaa 5th May 2021 Written Update :
Anupamaa and Vanraj come to know that their divorce date has arrived. Vanraj asks the lawyer if he can cancel the decision of divorce. Kavya overhears Vanraj’s conversation with the lawyer and forces him to divorce Anupamaa.
Anupamaa tells Vanraj
that they will reveal their divorce date after the puja gets over.
