Anupamaa 18th May 2021 Written Update "Anupamaa Has Cancer, Kavya Prints Marriage Card, Vanraj Gets Angry ".
The episode begins in the car. Advait drives back to the
resort along with Vanraj and Anupamaa. Anupamaa and Vanraj ask Advait to play a
song.
As Advait plays a song, Anupamaa and Vanraj feel awkward and
smile. Leela and Dolly cook together so that Vanraj and Anupamaa can have lunch
after reaching the resort. Pakhi asks Leela if Anupamaa would have her meals
with the family. Leela tells Pakhi that they have to take proper care of
Anupamaa as she takes strong doses of medicines.

Her tongue slips as she addresses Anupamaa to be her
daughter-in-law. Paritosh and Samar sit together in the garden area. Paritosh
shares his grief of his parent's divorce. He knows that they should support and
respect Anupamaa and Vanraj’s decision but he wants to be that child requesting
them not to get divorced. He wonders how to handle this situation. Samar tells
him that they will get habituated to the situation gradually and waits for
their parents to arrive.
Meanwhile, Advait reaches the resort. Vanraj and Anupamaa
accompany Advait in the battery car of the resort. They reach their cottage.
The Shahs and Kavya wait for their arrival. The family is in grief seeing
Vanraj and Anupamaa after their divorce. Leela hugs Anupamaa while Paritosh
hugs his father. Anupamaa tries to control her tears. The family hugs Anupamaa
and Vanraj one by one.
Leela asks Anupamaa and Vanraj to freshen up and have their
lunch. Anupamaa stands behind Samar. The Shahs look back as Anupamaa doesn’t
enter the cottage with them. Anupamaa asks Samar if he has arranged everything
she said. Vanraj asks Anupamaa what she’s talking about. Samar gives the key to
Anupamaa. Anupamaa walks towards the cottage and takes her nameplate.
She tells everyone
that as she’s not Vanraj’s wife and Leela’s daughter-in-law, then this cottage
doesn’t belong to her anymore. She shows her new cottage to the family and
thanks Samar for arranging everything for her. Leela scolds Anupamaa and asks
her to stay with the family. She tells Anupamaa that she has to listen to her
being her daughter.
Anupamaa stops Leela and tells her that she cannot listen to
her. She takes Leela’s blessings and bids her. She walks towards her cottage.
She tells Kavya that there was no more empty cottage left in the resort so
Advait has offered her the one beside her. Kavya wishes her luck and so does
Anupamaa. Anupamaa walks towards her cottage surprising everyone. She puts the
nameplate in front of the new cottage and opens it. Samar knows that Anupamaa
wanted to be alone for a while and decides to take food for her later.
Anupamaa feels lonely seeing the empty house. She recalls
how her family needed her always. She sits on the bed trying to calm herself
down. There’s a knock on her door. Anupamaa feels it to be Samar but finds out
to be Kavya as she opens the door. Kavya enters her room with tea. She tells
Anupamaa that she will not leave her side as she has supported the former in
her tough times. She taunts Anupamaa for losing her husband and family and
being alone.
She tells Kavya that
she will not stop her from meeting with the Shahs even after her marriage to
Vanraj. She tells Anupamaa that she isn’t feeling happy seeing her pain.
Anupamaa tells her that she doesn’t have any grief. Kavya tells her that being
lonely is not a state of happiness. She tells Anupamaa that she has finally got
the life she wanted after divorcing Vanraj. Anupamaa tells her that she will
build a new life for herself and thanks to her for offering tea to her.
Kavya asks her to inform her if she wants anything and
leaves. Anupamaa hopes that Kavya can adjust and make a space for herself in
the family. Kavya comes to the Shahs’ cottage while Advait knocks at Anupamaa’s
door. Leela bursts out in anger seeing Kavya in the house. Kavya offers a card
to Leela requesting her to check it. After going through the card, Leela passes
it to Vanraj.
Advait goes to inform Anupamaa about her final report. Leela
asks Samar to bring her slippers to beat Kavya as she has brought the wedding
card of Vanraj and hers. This shocks everyone in the family. Kavya asks Paritosh,
Samar, and Pakhi to choose a place for their destination wedding. She requests
Leela to keep the card in the temple. Advait tells Anupamaa that she is
suffering from cancer.

Advait asks Anupamaa not to lose hope as they will fight together against her disease. Kavya asks Vanraj to look at Anupamaa who’s planning for her future and is unaffected after her divorce. Vanraj finds Anupamaa and Advait spending time with each other. Kavya instigates Vanraj.
