Kasauti Zindagi Kay 22nd August 2019 Episode Written Update " Prerna is shocked to Listen About Mr. Bajaj Anurag to come Back ".
The episode begins in the Basu house. Mohini wants Sharda to see what she wants her to show.
Tanvi and Sharda are worried about what Mohini is going to do. Sharda decides to go to Mohini’s room to talk to her. Prerna and her family request the inspector to leave Veena as she is innocent. The inspector tells them that Veena is arrested in the case of attempting to murder Mr. Bajaj.
The Sharmas are shocked to hear the complaint against Veena. Prerna introduces herself to be Bajaj’s wife. She comes to know from the inspector that Sharda has filed a complaint against Veena for trying to kill Mr. Bajaj intentionally. She is shocked. Sharda comes to Mohini’s room. Mohini asks her to knock the door before coming into her room.
Sharda tells her that she won’t require permission in future as Rishabh will take over the Basu house soon. Mohini asks her why she hates Bajaj. Sharda refuses to agree as she considers Rishabh to be her own son. Mohini shows a photograph to Sharda where she is seen loosening the hanging so that it falls. Sharda is puzzled and becomes speechless. Mohini got the photo from the photographer who was covering the party. She instructed the photographer to give her hard copy and delete the backup. She asks Sharda her motive to harm Rishabh.
Sharda tells her that she won’t require permission in future as Rishabh will take over the Basu house soon. Mohini asks her why she hates Bajaj. Sharda refuses to agree as she considers Rishabh to be her own son. Mohini shows a photograph to Sharda where she is seen loosening the hanging so that it falls. She asks Sharda her motive to harm Rishabh.
Sharda tells her that she wanted to frame Veena somehow. Anupam intervenes in their conversation unintentionally and Sharda leaves the room. Later Anurag calls Anupam. He asks Anupam if everything is alright there. Anupam informs him that Veena is arrested for an accident as Bajaj got hurt and Mausi has filed the complaint. Anurag gets worried about Prerna and decides to come back from London.
Anurag books ticket for India as he has been there with Prerna every time. Prerna thinks that Mausi can’t file such a complaint. She gets shocked as the inspector tells her that Sharda has given a statement where it says that Veena doesn’t like Bajaj and has tried to kill him. Prerna wants to drop the case being Bajaj’s wife. But the inspector doesn’t allow her to do so as only Sharda can drop the case. Shivi tells Prerna that she hates Bajaj’s family.
Prerna assures her that she will make everything alright. Suman consoles Shivi. She asks Prerna to correct the mistake of what Bajaj’s family did. Shekhar apologizes to Prerna on behalf of Suman. Prerna decides to talk to Sharda. She leaves the police station. She remembers the memories she had with her mother.
She finds Mr. Viyaj while going back to the Basu house. She decides to talk to Mr. Viyaj. Though Mr. Viyaj talks to her as Mr.s Bajaj she also introduces herself to be Veena’s daughter. She asks Mr. Viyaj if Mr. Bajaj has forcefully wanted Veena to work in his party decoration. Mr. Viyaj informs Prerna that Bajaj wanted Veena to be a part of the contract and that was his only condition. Prerna misunderstands Bajaj’s intention and thinks that Bajaj wanted to humiliate Veena and so had called her in the party to decorate.
Mr. Viyaj tells Prerna that Bajaj wanted to help Veena financially and so has overpaid him to give Veena extra money. He tells Prerna that Mr. Bajaj is a good person by heart and requests her not reveal this secret to Bajaj. Prerna leaves and feels bad for misunderstanding Mr. Bajaj every time. She decides to talk to Mausi so that she takes back the case. She gets call from the hospital as Bajaj’s doctor urgently wants to meet her. She leaves for the hospital. Tanvi gets tensed to hear from Sharda about Mohini’s threat. She suggests Sharda leave the city. Sharda consoles her and tells her that Mohini would expose only her.

Prerna wishes for Bajaj’s well being. Tanvi is shocked to see Prerna keeping her hand on Bajaj’s hand. Sharda is confused about whether she should take Veena’s case back. Mohini suggests her not to drop the case.
