The episode begins where Ruhi thinks of Karan and the moments they shared. She blushes thinking of him. She imagines Katanin her room. In her imagination, they both share sweet moments. She feels special. They dance together. But soon she realizes that it was her imagination. She goes back to sleep. Ishita brings Aliya and they get ready for Karva Chauth. There's a knock on the door. Mihika opens the door and finds Karan with sarge. Ishita and Mihika receive it happily. Karan looks here and there. Aliya understands that he's looking for Ruhi. She informs him that Ruhi will directly come to the temple.

Karan takes his leave and tells Aliya that they all will meet at the temple. Ishita finds a letter inside the sargi and jokes with Aliya saying that it's a love letter from Rohan. Mrs. Bhalla instructs the married ladies of the house including Aliya to have their sargi before sunrise. Aliya wants Ishita to make her eat the sargi with her own hand like every year.

Ishita along with the other members of the Bhalla family reaches the temple where Mrs. Iyer and Sagun were waiting for their arrival. They compliment Aliya for looking so pretty. Rohan's family also arrives at the temple. The Bhallas welcome them. Rohan compliments Aliya. Mr. Bhalla takes Rohan for preparing him for the puja in Madrasi style. Karan asks Aliya for Ruhi's whereabouts.

Meanwhile, Ruhi reaches the temple with Simmi. Ruhi feels uncomfortable wearing saree. She requests Simmi to take the puja materials and call Ishita and Sagun. Simmi asks Ishita and Sagun to meet Ruhi outside. They both are surprised to see Ruhi in saree. Karan also comes outside. Ruhi tells them that she wants to confess them something. She tells her decision to Sagun and Ishita that she is accepting Karan's marriage proposal. Ishita gets in tears in happiness. Karan is also surprised to hear Ruhi's decision. He feels happy. Ishita wants to talk to Ruhi personally. She asks Ruhi again whether she is accepting the proposal wholeheartedly because she doesn't want Ruhi to get pressurized for her family. Ruhi feels Karan be a nice guy and he has become her good friend. Ruhi says that as Ishita has told her that every relationship starts with friendship so she finds Karan to be the perfect one.

 She also feels happy as Aliya will also be there in the house. Ishita again tells her to take time if she needed. Shagun goes and informs everyone that Ruhi has agreed to Karan's marriage proposal. Everyone is happy. Ruhi takes the blessing of Kaushalaya. Kaushalaya feels lucky as both the Aliya and Ruhi will be her daughters-in-law. Mrs. Iyer suggests that both the couple should do the puja. Ishita goes out to call Raman and inform him of the good news. She calls Raman but gets his call busy. Ishita gets worried about their financial condition as both Ruhi and Aliya will be getting married on the same day. Raman talks to the phone with Vijender. He talks to him regarding some work. Romi listens to him from outside the room and feels that Raman is in trouble. He plans to keep Raman inside the house and not let him go anywhere. Kaushalaya suggests Ruhi and Karan get married on the same day with Aliya and Rohan. Everyone finds it to be a great idea. Ruhi wants the decision to be taken by Ishita and Raman. Romi again tells him that he should stay at home because the wedding ceremony is in four days. Romi asks Raman where he is going. Raman asks Romi not to act as a detective like Ishita and goes out.

Both the couple sits for the puja along with their families. An unknown couple comes running to the temple and asks the priests helplessly whether they can get married now. The priests tell them that it is not possible now as there is a puja going on already. The girl seems helpless and requests them. Ishita walks in front of them and asks whether they have run away from their house for getting married. The girl promises to tell her later but now it is necessary for them to get married. Ishita wants to help them. The girl tells Ishita that her father is in the hospital and his last wish is to see her getting married. Ruhi gets up and feels that the couple is in the serious problem so they should get married first. Ishita doesn't find the matter alright.
